I have a chance to buy a merlin amp (NEW) for a few hundred dollars is it worth it?

it will be driving a rainbow 3 way comp set.

They are changing the heat sinks now, but the merlins with the old heat sinks were sweet too.

US Amps is all out of the Md41, md22, md23. New models are shipping now.

Its a solid amplifier. Merlins are typically ~15% underated. Bridged it would drive a pssive set really nice up front.
