WASHINGTON -- The federal budget deficit tripled to a record $1.4 trillion for the 2009 fiscal year that ended last week, congressional analysts said Wednesday.

The Congressional Budget Office estimate, while expected, is bad news for the White House and its allies in Congress as they press ahead with health care overhaul legislation that could cost $900 billion over the next decade.

Dont we send a ton of foreign aid to other coutries? I bet that costs us a load of $$$.

I say we stop giving aid to to africa. Not like they are good for anything anyways.

It will be about that way for the next 3-4 years at least..I really doubt McCain would spend like this but he was for the same Cap and Tax bs Obama is..also be prepared to pay a "Value Added Tax" to level out the playing field between USA and EU...talk about going socialist. Under Obama I would be worried about the dollar though as there are stories world wide about countries wanting to drop it to buy oil.

Look at the United Nations website then look up UN Agenda 21...It is funny how what they say there ends up happening here..except the Kyoto Treaty..they hate Bush for that.
