AX is hand made in the usa, and priced pretty well. Merlins are pretty cheap, and are good amps. I wouldn't touch the xterminator line, or any of those RE amps.

i blew a new style xt...was shit imo, a memphis amp beat it hands down..just collects dust on a work bench in my garage..(no reason to repair garbage]

I would take an AX2000 over a us-2000 right now. I have had the green board us amps myself, but they are current hogs, have stupid *** power/ground inputs, and big.

Just stay away from the AX-TU line...
