US Amps vs Zapco ?

Yeah My USA-300x its an A/B amp thats rated 900 Watts X 1 @12 Volts. Closer to 1200+ at 14.4!

From what I have read on Mono Amps, and due to my golden ear, as stated above, I do not think I would be happy with a Mono sub amp. So I always ues 2 Channel amps and bridge them.

One more thing.... Anyone know of a good amp that has a High pass option crossover at 60-65Hz and up, with 300 Watts @ 4 ohms that will play midbass well? I say midbass well, as when I was picking out amps a while back I remember some saying Audison amps had weak midbass, and Arc amps had muddy midbass. US Amps has great midbass reproduction, but all the larger amps I have like the 600x and 300x both have only lowpass crossovers so they will not work how I want them to. I want to use the Crossover in my Eclipse CD-8053 and spli the low end between the Sub and the Midbass. So I will use the low pass crossover in my amp to the sub, and the high pass crossover to my Midbass, and that will eliminate the need for a seperate crossover.

My Midbass are Peerless Xls 8" which are 8ohm, so 300 watts would give me about 150 at 8 ohm.

Not really my point. In order to justify going from AX to C2K...you better know what to listen for. Veterans know exactly what I'm talking about. BTW, I do not consider myself a veteran by any stretch of the imagination...just pointing this out. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Zapco's proprietary Simbilink system really works....I've used it....and I think it can solve a lot of inherent noise problems in the car environment. If I had the cash I'd run Zapco's HU---> Zapco processor---->DC amps. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif
there deck isnt out yet, and if you run the DC's you dont really need an external processor. i dont even have an outboard EQ anymore and it sounds even better with the DC's. and i dont have the in dash tuner for them, because they are setup from a computer.

H701 > Zapco DC stuff //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.

$20 says you havent even heard one.
Congratulations, you earned 20 bucks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif I can hear processing and features? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Me personally i would go with the H701 based on the fact that overall its a better price to performance ratio. the DC reference processors MUST BE USED WITH THE DC REFERENCE AMPS. H701, CAN BE USED WITH ANY SYSTEM. Not only that the H701 can be integrated with the IVA-W200 for DVD use. More versatile and more flexbility in terms of the things you can do with your system. if i had the DC reference processors, and for some reason want to sell it, i must sell all my amps and processors because the processor can't be used with any other amp. H701, no problem i can change amps. Not only that DC reference amps are expensive as hell.

the dsp from zapco isnt strictly for the DC amps.
