GLWS!! Clean amp
these are the official low voltage ratings, and yes, underrated......
ive heard aound 800 at 1 ohm bridged from a dealer
........but not that much. should expect possibly 600rms @ 70a+ draw. it will sound real clean, though.

I collect US Amps. The manual you have is from the early 90's. The amps, judging from the boards, are the 1999 version. The board should be the same as the USA-150/150X. The rail voltage on the USA-50HC is +/-15V @ 35A. The "white pages" for that amp say it's 100W/CH @ 4 ohms and the overage factor is 15:1. It has (12) 125W 3MHz bipolar transistors. Doing the math in the US Amps brochures 15V x 1ohm = 15A...15V x 15A = 225W/CH. Bridged is 30V x 1 ohm = 30A...30V x 30A = 900W. Someone correct me if my math or way of thinking is off. US Amps are way underrated. GLWS!
not quite..... certainly not the same board, or even close to the 150/150x (675-725 rms range iirc, as i clamped) and it will sag at low ohm loads, and you can't really count anything over 10%thd as power. some power input mods and that 16v power buck unit they used to sell could possibly get the 800 mentioned

Moving back to hawaii in less than 2 weeks. $240 shipped for both. If you want these get them now, shipping from hawaii is double.
usps flat rate

oh, and you got a full-size pic of your avatar?

Thanks for clearing things up man, always good to know the real specs.

As for USPS flat rate, I'm pretty sure they can fit in a single medium flat rate each wrapped in bubble rap but that's about as good as packaging is gonna get in that flat rate which honestly doesn't sound awesome to me. But if it works it works I guess.

Additinally, no need to reference "max" anything as those specs are useless. Most of know how to look at specs for a given speaker, amp, HU, etc...

Hello all. Used to come on these forum quite a bit. I used to compete in IASCA MECA etc. and placed 1st 2x with this setup. Anyway this is my baby...

You don't need two amps. The speakers come with crossovers to help protect the tweeters.

Perhaps you changed something without mentioning it here? Maybe a loose turn on line? I dunno man...but we'll take it. Hopefully it keeps working. 👍
