4guage should be enough for a 4 channel amp but you can 0guage that as well if you want, and if you cant get 0 guage in your 4 channel amp buy dome reducers.

Sounds like a lotttt of people in my area. I don't know what is so mechanically attractive about a Civic? But yeah, if anything, one of my old teachers owns a car stereo buisness that he does on the weekends. He told me since I was a good student, he'd wire me up for free. And if the MD3 isn't going to push my sub to max excursion at loud volumes, then what amp will? I'm piecing this system together over a long period of time, so money isn't really an obstacle here people...really, list away if you'd like.

If money is not an issue and you would like to stay with US Amps I would suggest a AX3000DE. 3000W @ 1ohm. If you think the MD3s are sexy you should see this beast.

I think it is pretty much the same as the MD2, they just tweeked it a bit. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but the MD2 started to clip after 1950 watts. The new MD3 should be able to produce a little more before clipping. And it's also strappable.

MD3 is the newest coming out. the MD2 got really popular the last few months, but now it's the IA 20.1, IA 40.1, and MD3. and yes the MD2 would produce 1950@1ohm before clipping. bench tested.

i've been told the md3 can do around 600 more than the md2 before clippage.
