US Amps MD3?

I'm in the process of ordering an 18" XXX for my truck, and would like to know if an MD3 would be an ideal amp for me to get the most out of the XXX? If not, what are some that will?

An 06 XXX, didn't know the MD3 was made in 05, if that's what you were asking.

no I was reffering to the model of the sub and the different power handlings they have. '06xxx18" lucky guy..........the md3 puts out 2kw+ im giving mine 3kw+

get the MD3 you wont be sorry, if you have the electrical the MD3 is underrated.

PLus personal preference i'll take US amps over MMATS all day

What would I need to do to my electrical system? I'm already planning on a bigger alternator and a yellow-top, what else?

power is power my friend. And i'd take mmats over planet audio.

heh i got the planet audio because the price and sick warranty. I've burnt MMATS amps on thier own subs before. As i said before all a matter of opinion. Power isnt power, your XXX will sound good with that amp no doubt but dont expect to win any SPL comps with it.

I'll have an MD3 within the month for my 06 XXX12

It would probably best to also get the Big3 Upgrade 1/0 ga w/ 1/0 ga amp kit and 250amp ANL fuse

And if the MD3 isn't going to push my sub to max excursion at loud volumes, then what amp will? I'm piecing this system together over a long period of time, so money isn't really an obstacle here people...really, list away if you'd like.

who said it wasnt going to push your sub?

the JBL BPx2200 pushes it well as well

no matter what amp you pick, running that power its a good idea to upgrade the things listed above
