us amps marlin m1-md 2007 or 2008 model

Ok i came across a brand new marlin series 2 m1 md momo amp this one i think is the 2006 or 2007 model it has all the hook ups in the middle of the amp puts out 1050 wattts at 1 ohms as to the 2008s the body of the amp is shorted and has 1200 watts at 1 ohm and hookups are on each end,Plus the box has RE on it too.

Which one would be the better amp the older one or the newer thanks.
