Hello, my friend offers me an excellent condition US AMPS DE1000. However, I have one JL 10W3V2D4 in a sealed enclosure. Would it be overkill for US AMP DE1000 with one JL 10W3V2D4? Assuming if I set up a little gain for DE1000. Thank you

That amp is overkill for that sub, but you don't have to turn the gains all the way up either!! What kind of deal are we talking about?

You could wire the sub to 8 ohm.

Could you please explain a bit more? Can I set up very a little gain for DE1000 at 2ohm or run normal gain at 8 ohm? I hope this won't blow away 10W3V2 ????
