2000 is rated to 2 ohms mono, 2000x rated to 4 ohms mono.

USA 2000:

250 x 2 @ 4 ohns stereo

500 x 2 @ 2 ohms stereo

1000 x 2 @ 1 ohm stereo

1000 watts @ 4 ohms mono

2000 watts @ 2 ohms mono

USA 2000x:

250 x 2 @ 8 ohns stereo

500 x 2 @ 4 ohms stereo

1000 x 2 @ 2 ohm stereo

1000 watts @ 8 ohms mono

2000 watts @ 4 ohms mono

My 2000x actually put out over 3000 watts @ 2 ohms mono before trading it.

Ran solid at that load for about 2 years.

My 2000's that I'm using are doing around 2800-3000 each pushing the subs in my sig.

Neither of these amps are 1/2 ohm stable. Only the "HC" series were rated for that low of an ohm load.
