US amplifier question

What is the main difference between the XT and the MD line from US amps? I'm not looking to compete or let someone in the next county hear me w/ these amps.

I was going to go with the ED 9.2X (already have) and then purchase a 9,1 but am now curious about the US amps. Which line from US would compare to the ED amps?

the Merlin is the middle-line and just enough for me for the price/performance.

I had the MD2D, upgraded to MD3D. I like the MD3D much better, as I have more flexibility. (I get good power at both 1 or 2 ohms)

The Xterminator line, is the "entry" line, but it is not entry really. Good amps, I have not read a bad review yet. Scott on SSA is running his XT2000D at .66 with no probelms.

Which line would compare closer to the ED amps? I know ED is not popular around here but please give your honest opinion.
