Has anyone heard about this amp? I know it's built by Zed Audio and from what I hear, its a pretty nice amp. Is this true and are there known problems for this amp?

Has some nice specifications, I have never heard of any problems with people using US Acoustics.

Yes, I'm buying it w/o a warranty. I think it's a tad on the old side.

no, it was started by the same guy that started hifonics back in the day (when it was good) and founded usamps

From what I've read on forums, this amp seems to smoke a lot out of nowhere. The one this guy is selling isn't in great condition either.

Well basically you are looking for an amp that puts out around 800 watts RMS at 2ohms for 200bucks total.

The cheaper Korean made classD's are a good choice for sub amps if you are on a tight budget, you can get them pretty cheap brand new with a decent warranty and since the circuit board parts are more common, repair times are shorter (no special order stuff) that is in the event that one ever breaks down.

SQ is not a primary concern with subamps as even cheaper amps can play 10 to 400 hz with no problem, you just need to make sure that it has the actual output capability you need at the ohms you plan on running, I would buy somthing rated at a greater RMS than you need to ensure that you are getting the power you need(all the cheaper companies use the asian made curciut boards).

Actually I'm looking for a 4 ohm or 1 ohm amp that pushes at least 600 W RMS. I just won a DEI 600D on eBay, so that should be plenty for me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. I didn't even think I was gonna win the auction hehe.
