URGENT! Road Trip Tomarrow Need to Fix!

Thanks for the help guys!

I recently installed the alpine 9881 into my stereo system. I have a MRP-250 alpine amp with phoenix gold 6.5 rsd components in the front and coaxils in the back and a JL w1.

I need a quick fix because what happened was i installed the deck at a different place then the where i got the rest of the system installed and the newer guys said the amp was to small to power everything. So the signal started to become a little staticy because of a lack of power.

NOW i called the older guys and they said that since I changed to rca outputs when i switched to the new alpine deck that they are at a lower frequency or low pass filter or something? and the old wiring was at a high frequency. so now i have to tweak the amplifier a little. But I don't know where to start with that. I dont know where the knobs are or what to do with them.

Any help guys? I really want to be able to take my baby on a drive tomarrow...

They probably said high level input (speaker level inputs) to low level input (rca/preamp inputs) on your amp. I'm assuming you went from using a stock Hu to the Alpine. Go do a search for the gain setting tutorial.

yeah thats pretty much what happened, ill definitaly search for what you just said. even though i dont know what that means.. anymore advice since your analysis was confirmed? thanks man!
