Well I finally started working on my xterra late last year so im going to start up my build thread.

your an installer??

Just starting out.First amp and subs ive installed, noone ever comes to work and gets em, they only want radios or speakers.

I do not own a shop, I work at bestbuy, they offered me the position after being there for a while so i took it because its something ive always wanted to learn. I have installed a lot of different things being headunits,sat radios, speakers...etc, but its very rare for people to get us to install their subs or amps, idk if its bc of the prices or what, but either way i guess i just do it on the side now because i got a full time job so at bestbuy i just stay on the sales floor.So ive never had the experience of doing "real" installs at another business, never done any sort of custom install, box build, or anything.

Youll learn fast about what works and what doesnt... I am trying now to get a job at Bestbuy to be an installer but Ive applied 4 times and nothin unfortunatly

Yeah ive learned a ton since i started. 6 months ago i wouldn't have thought about doing this.

Yeah it sounds pretty good, i originally bought the alpine type s speakers, but i returned them and bought the kicker ks series. as of now ifs pretty equal sq wise if i dont turn he knob past halfway. Im thinking about adding more of the cvrs.
