i have never done a deal this way... i am selling an amp,,, and the guy wants to money order it from him in the us to me in canada..... how does this all work and when i recieve the money? help...lol

when you receive the money order, you just take it to a bank and cash it

a money order is kinda like a check....

says how much its worth on it, you just take it to the bank, they give u free money, WIN!

I do not know if Canadian banks would have a problem cashing a check issued by a US government entity (as the USPS is run by the federal government)

I have done this several times with people in Canada and its not a problem at all , Just have him send you the money order(usps) right, and take it to any post office in the United States along with your ID and they will cash it ,simple as that and these type of money orders(usps) are good as gold, one other note if you ever buy something from Canada and us a postal money order, get the International postal money order.

Have him send you an International money order from USPS - you can cash those in Canada. If he gets a national one, you're going to be driving to the US to get it cashed.
