and double boxed (home depot boxes~0.96cents a piece I think)

That's the difference between someone knowing what they're doing.. and someone that just has a RF T2 because the dude @ Best Buy said it was the best sub on the market.

 
Whenever I shipped subs that didn't come in the original box, I always used a towel to wrap the woofer in. Then lots of newspaper. Then I put the woofer in one box first with the towel wrapped around it. Sealed that box then put it in another box with newspaper around it. Common sense can go a long way for some people.

Yep, common sense says "wrap your sub with a towel & some newspaper"..

Just shipped it out today. Put wrapping on bottom of box, sub in trash bag, sub in milk crate (fit pretty snug), foam around the sub, then padding on top of sub, and insured it. HOPEFULLY USPS doesnt screw it up.

 
I wonder if that great stuff expanding foam would work well? Wrap the sub up in plastic, and then like spray it everywhere around the sub in the box lol.

 
hahaha seriously milk crates? I dont see that ending too well. shipped 3 dif subs all using pool noodles and nothing has been fvucked up yet.
