Hey so I got my Image dynamics goods the IDQ10v3 and the ctx65cs and my sundown sax100.4 amp came yesterday and I am going to have it installed tomorrow. I got a sealed box from ebay and my sub is a little to big. Is it a big deal to have to cut it down a little here is the box and I was gonna put my IDQ10v3 in it?

What do you plan on cutting down exactly?

well the cut out where the sub goes is a little small could my install guys make it larger so my sub fits?

Cutting the mounting hole large isn't a problem to fit your sub in. It's not going to change your volume of the box, so it won't be a problem. The problem is the volume of the box may not be correct for the subwoofer in question, and the comment you may get from people is that you should have built your own box to specs, in addition to maybe installing it yourself. If the people installing it for you don't realize that they can just cut a larger hole, maybe they're not the right people to be installing it for you...

I actually just got the box and I havnt told them so I am hoping its not a problem. And is that box is .85 cubic feet so it should be ok right?

It would take a couple minutes with a router is all.

You should be just fine. You'll be close to the minimum w/displacent of the driver taken into account but worst comes to worst just add some acoustic fiberglass matt to the inside of the box

if I get this installed and want to change my box that is pretty easy to do right? I wanted to get one built from somebody on here but no one responded so I just got that box.
