wood crate probably isnt a good idea, the wood would just go through the sub as the crate falls apart when its thrown aroundDude, I would call the seller and ***** him out. That sub was simply not packed properly.
An MT 18 needs a wood crate, that is an obvious choice. Whoever packed that thing is an idiot.
x2. I would think that any 18" would be packaged a lot more securely than that POS package job. From the look of the packaging...You or whoever files the claim will lose.
This is not UPS's fault unless they "repackaged" it after they destroyed the original box.
I would ask for a refund. MT 18s are heavy subs, they should be shipped with high density foam and a crate to help the box hold its shape...NOT packing peanuts.
Indeed.... They would be better off wrapping it in plastic wrap and sending it like that... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gifPeople need to learn you can't just pack a subwoofer in peanuts and wrap it in cardboard and expect it to get there in one piece.
Fucking retards.
