From the look of the packaging...You or whoever files the claim will lose.

This is not UPS's fault unless they "repackaged" it after they destroyed the original box.

I would ask for a refund. MT 18s are heavy subs, they should be shipped with high density foam and a crate to help the box hold its shape...NOT packing peanuts.

I used to ship FWD transmissions in a double walled box with MDF or 3/4 OSB on the top and bottom. Then stuff it with blankets. That probably wouldn't work for a sub woofer though.

alot of times they are hesitant to take a claim if the packaging wasnt sufficent. hopefully they'll side with you and refund it. thing is they'll refund the hsipper and then he has to send it to you.....it's always a good thing to have the ups store pack it that way if it gets ****ed they have no excuse to not refund......

Why can't people just learn how to properly pack things?

That weighs at absolute minimum 40 pounds, do you really think packing peanuts is going to cushion an impact with that much force? Stuff falls and gets banged around, it's just part of shipping, pack it so it can withstand a fall and you won't have a problem.

How much is some styrofoam? Maybe $10 for a big sheet that you can package 5 subs with?

Was it packed the best it could be? nope not at all but at the same time ariving in that kind of shape only proves that it was abused vary badly.. This is one reason that any high value items i sell over the ent are packed and shipped by ups... nothing to argue over if it arives broken its their fault no doubt...

You're in for a fun time. FagEx played indoor soccer with my 12 RL-p, and they wouldn't refund me for like 3 months. Thank god the seller was cool, otherwise I woulda started some ish.

Personally, I say the SELLER owes you a refund, let him deal with UPS. I can't believe you guys are like "OMG look what ups did".What the **** do you expect when you package a sub like that?Looks like the sub doesn't even fit in the box properly. The seller appears to be a complete, incompetent dumbshit.
In some cases, it is UPS's fault.But in this case, it is CLEARLY the retard that sent it off like that and thought it'd be ok.If any of you think this is strictly UPS's fault, you are all as dumb as the idiot that packaged that sub.
