they are rated at 750 rms a piece on my 12's and im only pushing 1000 into them so about 500 a piece and they are still loud as hell. i had the same amp on one 12 ssi and it handled it well.

i have heard a lot of people say give them at least 1000 a piece but idk if it can still take more or not.

i read a guy saying he was putting 1200 a piece to the TSX's which are only rated for 500 and he says they take it no problem. so it makes me think we could also do at least double what treo says to the SSI. but idk

i do to i just don't have the power to push it. it sounds good with the 750 i have but i really think it can take a bit more. i guess i just want louder but don't want to have a hundred pounds in the back of my car at all times.

That would be me:naughty: My TSX's took 1200 no problem. I cant say for sure ho much the SSI's will take safely, but just play around with it a bit and find the sweetspot. My box was 7cubes at 32hz with 100sq/in of port. This was strictly a daily setup. If you're going for more spl, I would go bigger than 3 cubes and use a lttle more port. If you call wayne at Treo, he'll help you with the box design and tell you what will work best for you. 800-530-5925. good luck and congrats on the Treo.

i like how the ssi sounds and it gets pretty loud especially down low but i just want it louder. 134.1 from the windshield(on the new TL) just isn't enough for me anymore. i'm gonna get a zx1500.1 and put it on that and start with the gains set for about 1000-1200 and go from there.

btw, my setup is sq oriented, so i wasn't looking for maximum boom. But it does hit lows awesome, even in the small box. Hope your midbass can keep up.
