UPS brought me a Treo!! bye JL

Alright, I talked to a guy that has used Treo SSi 15's a lot in competitions(had 6 of them in an explorer I believe). He said give it 3 cubes of space ported at 35hz with about 42 sq. in. of port. I guess I will go with that and see how it goes.

Murfreesboro. About 30 miles southeast of Nashville. Also, what numbers could I be expecting with this sub on a Kicker ZX1000.1. Ive only been into SQ and just converted to SPL so I have no idea what I should be expecting. 130's, 140's, 150's?

sounds good. 3.0 sounds small though but maybe it's right for comps using high power. idk.

it's hard to really guess but somewhere in the low to mid 140's i would imagine. i am pulling a 133.x at the dash on music, 134.1 with a sine sweep with a single ten on about 750 watts.

congrats on ditch'n tha JL poop and step'n up to a real mans toy. welcome fellow treo owner. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

im right by murfreesboro in shelbyville man,,i have two ssi 12's,,radioactive in tullahoma is an authorized dealer for treo if you have any questios or anything.

don't put all your trust in me. haha but i think smaller boxes are better if your using A LOT of power to help control the sub. bigger is better if your using less power to let the sub move.

a zx1000.1 will do well but when i upgrade my amp i plan to put the zx1500.1 on my ten but with the gains set around 1250watts or so for daily. it's laughing at the 750 i'm giving it.

Ah really? I'll have to go check them out. I go to shelbyville quite a bit. I used to race motocross over at the Ag Center, and I race at the Calsonice Arena every year. If you are going to any competitions in the area let me know.

I would look into a ZX1500 but the plan is to end up getting another SSI 15 when I take my back seat out. Then I can just run 2 ZX1000's and blast my car apart.

So anybody know what numbers I could be seeing with the ssi 15 on a zx1000? Ive heard mid 140's from a couple people, one guy said 150. I highly doubt 150 but 140s seems pretty reasonable

now that we have a whole bunch of people familiar with the treo ssi how much power have people been putting to them? what can they take?
they are rated at 750 rms a piece on my 12's and im only pushing 1000 into them so about 500 a piece and they are still loud as hell. i had the same amp on one 12 ssi and it handled it well.
