Upgrading to two 12"s and an amp, can i use existing wires?

Hi i am currently using a 12" kicker and am wanting to upgrade to two 12"s a new amp, new door speakers. I drive a 09 Honda Cr-v. I am planning on using these 12"s

Kicker 40DCWS122 Ported enclosure with dual 12" CompS subwoofers at Crutchfield.com

What would be a good amp for it and can i use the existing wiring[high quality] to run to the new amp? Also any suggestions for door and side speakers would be great!

I recently graduated out of the kicker stage and into JL audio. I agree that Ive learned alot from this Forum, Im on it daily, lol.

This would keep you in teh same budget and may rock out those kickers you are thinking of getting. I hear nothing but good things about this 12

Not the worst wire, it will do well. Do not spend your money at Crutchfield man. Very large markups. Go to SSA, Sonicelectronix, or Parts Express.

ya, i saw that, will probablly use sonic in the future was just posting that cause i got it straight from the order on my email. Also on the sub i would prefer it to be ported[already built and comes with enclosure].

Please do not purchase a pre-fab ported enclosure with Kicker speakers in it.
That's a lose lose combo my man...

Do some research, you've got a lot to learn.

budget for amp? For subwoofers, would you consider getting a 15" instead? it will keep costs down and still get you hella loud. 300$ is enough for a quality woofer and a custom ported enclosure shipped to your door made by a very trusted forum member on here. I'll give you his contact if you want to go the proper and loud route. Those kickers in a kicker box are something of a joke in terms of output and sound quality lol. Once you know a little bit more about bass, you'll know that its the enclosure that gets you loud/punchy, low and good sounding.

HDS300 Bundle This is a sub and amp combo, a very good deal on competition level equipment That will destroy most mainstream stuff out there. 429 for a 15" sub and amp(amp puts out more then its rated power) and some sound deadening material to fix rattles in your car.
@Boomsday ; for a custom ported box, should be hell of a lot cheaper then shops charging 400-600 for a custom box.

Total i want to spend on it will probably be around 600-700[sub,Amp,at least 2x6.5" door speakers, and any possible more wiring]. I have a good alpine head unit, it and I currently have this sub and amp

No comparison. Go with the bundle from Sq and you'll be very impressed. You will want to run more wire though. Look into 1/0 CCA or ofc.

okay, i will man and is that bundle come in a enclosure or would i have to buy my own? for side and door speakers would use suggest anything? should i upgrade them all or just a few of them?
