upgrading to big 3

4 gauge is the smallest I would use. 0 gauge is even better. The better your electrical is the louder it will be plus it is easier on your equipment. 2 for 1, performance and protection.

 
go ahead and use 0 gauge... less resistance and more current flow.. youll be able to charge your batteries faster and get more power from your amp that way... plus its worth spending the very little extra $ to get 0 gauge rather than 4 gauge.

 
naaah. lol.. cant ever over kill... expecially since you would only use 6-12 feet depending on the vehicle... thats only like $15 maxx if you get somthing like knuconceptz 0 gauge... good stuff and cheap.. plus you never know, you may want to go bigger in the future.. might as well get it done right the first time.
