What's the advantage of the flat wind coil and copper coil on the SSD?

The flatwound coil will give you increased power handling over a round coil...

flatwind= more power handling

copper = better sq

can only get one or the other though, as both would be too heavy and would decrease efficiency (That's what Scott form Fi said when I asked lol)

Hintzyboy got that one right on. I really like the SSD with the copper coils in it. Better all around than the standard aluminum round wire version. But, it currently only comes in D2, but I am working on a couple samples using different D1 coils too. Waiting on another coil to come in and hopefully things will be finished for that one.
