Upgrading SS Rl-P Vs. FI

I'm looking to bump up a few categories as far as subs go (right now it's two infinity 1230's) And I'm looking into either a SoundSplinter Rl-P or either an FI Q or a SSD. I have about 2.5 cu. ft. to play with for box size, and am looking at about 1200-1500 watts rms to run it. What are your suggestions? Looking For SQL

If you have 2.5 total to play with, you aren't going with Q's...I'd want more room than that.

Sounds like RL-p's would be a better choice.

how much larger would you recomend for the Q? I have some room in the trunk (It's in an 89 Nissan Maxima) But I don't want to completely lose my trunk. I work out of a camp and have to haul my gear from home to work which is usually about 500 miles away

If you have 2.5 total to play with, you aren't going with Q's...I'd want more room than that.

my friend threw a 15q in a box with around 2.5 cubes and it didnt sound all that bad actually rpretty good.

From what I'm reading, the guy is only looking at 1 sub??

Fi recommends 1.8-2.5 cubes apiece ported and .8-1.5 cubes each sealed

Yes, one sub. These subs should kill my 2 Infinity's. they're only running on about 200 watts each now.
