Upgrading sound system... need advice

A pair of 10s is about the most you are going to fit. I had to take out my back seat to get 2 12s to fit right. You have less space in the 2 than I had. A Audiocontrol LC2i tapped into the sub, unhook the factory sub

Custom box built by someone on here and shipped.

Checking those out right now. So will these hit them lows hard? Will i feel it for sure?

Watch as I drive outa my drive way and get pulled over right away. Haha. My friend gets pulled over so much for his subs. Anyways thank you very much. I may wait a bit for a second opinion for what you recommended, but I checked them out and liking it.

Look into digital designs red line woofers .. Also look what people are selling used ... you can probably score a lot nicer of gear then the entry level Chinese crap your considering.. The dd redline series is a little better I hear uses better soft parts but honestly I'd look for a 3500 series or a used 9500 if you can pick up a used 95 and throw 1k at it it will get a he'll of a lot louder then what your looking at .. very efficient subs

That's why I said a 35 or 95used so would be worth it .. I've never met anyone who has ran the new dd 95series and not fell in love.. my buddy did a single used 9512h in his Buick lesabre it's on a brutus 1700 and it's nutts for a single 12... and the 35 will get loud and sound amazing really can't go wrong with those subs.. ssa is a joke you will be waiting 2 years for your woofers and when they come there nothing special ...

Do you see this guys budget? What would happen is this... He will get a 35 or 95, now he has to fork over the money for as large amp, now he runs into power issues because those cars are not made for it, now his bass is overly drowning out his doors, now he has to get them up, now the electrical is even worse. Your logic is flawed.

You run into these nutthuggers of certain brands like above^^^^^ on here. SSA subs are very good subs. You'll be happy with them. If you want to look into Digital Designs you can, very high end subs. The price on their website isn't what you'll pay, but they are pretty expensive.

Yeah they are better subs for sure, but for a lower budget SSA isn't bad at all

A fun read lol. This is more of a temp sound system. If i were to put a ton of money into a sound system it would definitely not be into this car. This is one of the last things I'm gonna do to this car and all i really wanted is something to hit those lows really hard. That's about it.

Keep in mind over 1000-1500 watts you are going to need a new alternator and you need to get a bypass for it to reach 14.4v($500). It has to be built with it. You cant do just batteries in these cars they just dont charge enough to make it useful

I'm not a Nutt hugger I currently don't own a single dd product I just can't deny good gear ... I've ran dc.. ssa.. Fi .. etc a lot of these guys have seen and heard my builds who the fuckk are you lol.. fuckk ssa what do they make that's so great ?? Nothing and I've seen nothing but complaints from them lately .. I'd go all sundown before that ish
