Upgrading OEM 8" Sub in Navigator

I will be swapping my deck in our Navigator with a Clarion MAX675Vd along with a PS2 and the Navigation unit. I also have 4 7" screens on the headrests.

I am going to swap out my factory speakers in my doors and the tweeters in the sail panels with some Kickers, MB Quarts, or JL Audio components. I am not really sure yet.

I will be using the deck for power though (I know, I never though I would be saying that, LOL). Later on, I will add a 4-ch amp though (don't worry).

Anyway, my factory sub is an 8" driver. I am not sure what the ohm is nor how much power the rear amp is. I am just curious as to what I could swap that OEM 8" sub for and whether or would sound any better with an aftermarket sub?

I was thinking of a Kicker Comp, 8W0, 8W3, Arsenal 8, etc?

Any suggestions?

BTW, don't suggest an enclosure because if I was going to use one then I would use the box that I currently have in the garage with is for 3 ported 12's (my old Arsenal box).

Why not go with a DD 1008a ? Your factory enclousure should work perfect....read this review on 8" sub test.....

I would suggest taking the driver out and measuring it's DC Resistance with a multimeter before considering any replacements, as you want the replacement driver to have roughly the same DCR ( or at least approximately the same nominal impedance) if at all possible.
