Upgrading from 10" PowerBass...

Yea, I currently have a 10" Powerbass (PB-B1054v.2), a Crunch 900w max (4ch, 125w continous per channel), and a 10" box. I'm in a single cab Ford Ranger, so I don't have that much space. So, if I upgraded to this speaker, how much sound quality/volume should I expect compared to my current PB?

[random information about 10" and 12" P2s deleted]

Yea, after searching the forums, I see that the P2s don't have much respect around here, so what else would you guys suggest? I would really like to keep my 10" box and same amp, but after seeing some posts about the P2s, they are overpriced and don't sound great compared to other speakers. So, what would you guys suggest!?

I'm currently looking at this:

10" Kicker CompVR. Would you guys suggest a new amp, or could my Crunch (Crunch PZI4125 900w MAXX) handle it? Sorry if these are vague questions, I'm all about PC hardware, don't know much about car audio unfortunately.

And what's the difference between 4ohm and 8ohm speakers, because I notice most 10"/12" subs come in both for the same exact price.
different ways of wiring.

i have no experiance with your sub so no input other then, CVR's get quite loud but don't sound good, at all. for the money ofcourse

What would you suggest for a 10" sub around that price range? I want good SQ, but I want it to be loud (not window shattering loud, but I hate how mine just kind of tops out so early in it's volume).

Well, I'm in a single cab Ranger, so yea, it's kind of limiting. What did you mean about how they are really loud but don't sound good? I'm really more into sound quality than overall loudness, but I want them to be pretty loud still. I like nice clear tight bass, not really boomy shake your whole house from the road loud :p

EDIT:

And most people don't really know about my sub (I'd never heard of them before I got mine, my dad just brought it home one day, lol).

So, say I _did_ want to get the Infinity in the future. Would a 400w 2 channel amp (200 per channel) be good? It'd put out 50w less than what my PB is rated for, but it'd be perfect for the Infinity (which is 400w). I'm no good at shopping for this stuff, and I'm just kind of guessing on most of this (I have a basic understanding, but nothing concrete really).

Also, I didn't wire my system as it is now, so is it hard to change an amp myself (all I'd need to do is screw it in and change the plugs over right?

Hmm, I've been researching this, and I think i found a good one:

http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=13113

Hifonics ZX4000

It says it does 400w at 4-ohms, which would be perfect for the Infinity Kappa Perfect 10", and it seems it can also be set to 200w, which would work for my current sub.

Also, my current crunch amp says 125w per channel with 4 channels, but since it was so cheap (I'm pretty sure it was less than $100) it's probably not putting out anywhere near that, right? Once again, I'm going off knowledge from reading stuff on this forum and various sites, along with piecing some stuff together, so...
