Upgrading Alpine HU to new Alpine HU

Hey guys, I need to upgrade a headunit in my truck that is no longer doing the job.

I have had a Alpine CDM-7835 installed for years now. I want to swap it out for an Alpine CDA-105.

What are the chances of this being a direct plug and go application or will I need to solder in a wiring harness? I was hoping since it was Alpine to Alpine I might be in luck.

If it matters, which I don't think it would, we're talking about a 2003 Chevy 3500, 4-Door.

Thanks in advance. I've been looking for pin out or plug diagram for both receivers but haven't had any luck. If you know of a place that doest, then by all means...

in late 2005 or early 2006, can't remember, alpine changed up the wiring harness style. so i believe you will have to get a new wiring harness. i actually just installed a cda 105 in a friend of mines suburban. and another friends eclipse. haha. great deck for the price.
