Upgraded Amplifiers

Good evening fellas, I'm seeking advice about running a CT Sounds 4000.1D.

The electrical supply will initially be what you see in my signature, but I assure you I'll be upgrading to get the most out of the amplifier. Since my electrical is sub par for what I'm upgrading to, I will be hardly touching the gain until I find a comfortable spot where i don't drop below 12v.

First off I already know I must run another pos and neg to my rear battery. Will it affect the amp negatively if I use different wire such as SHCA 1/0 OFC for the other ground & power input?

Also how will I be fusing each run of positives to the amp? I've heard it's 200 amp fuses on each positive wire but will 300 amps be fine?

Part of me wants this thread to turn into a bashing session about how I'm not ready for this amp... i'll probably learn more that way lol

Mixing wire is fine just fuse appropriatley for 1/0shca ofc i used 300A fuses thats what jon and jim told me to use for their 1/0 ofc.

Please have a camera recording the amp at all times when playing so we can see how you blow it up:laugh:

But are even running enough to your 2200? Why would you buy an amp when you dont even have the source to power what you currently have?

Thats like me buying a twin turbo charger for my truck and installing it but running absolutely zero psi on my boost because my engine internally wont handle a single pound of pressure ithout blowing

Yeah man I got the one off CACO.

Martin I have enough power to full tilt my system at 14v all day cruising xD lick my nads

I got my cheek spread and the coa coa butter rolling deep man you already know

Hey dont tell me to lick anything you asked for something and i gave it to you, just like a bitch never happy even when you give them what they want:p:

Oh yeah I have nice 2 1/2 foot piece of 2/0 welding cable left from the previous electrical install... could it hurt to run the second negative but not the second positive? This would only be temporary

Lol you guise have to give me a running chance at this whole thing

I'm not running stock except the alt. I have the big 3 two AGM batts equal 160AH and 2/0 pure copper welding cable all around

That alt is gonna be a major problem keeping up with over 4,000 RMS...
I realize that along with the fact alternators have a fat price tag.

I'm gonna be upgrading to something in the high two hundred amps either from Jay's or Singer's Alternators.

Like i said in my first post i'll be upgrading with time to get the most out of the amp. People say 5k rms at 14.4v lol

I'm not going to touch the gain and I'm also gonna turn the bass remote all the way down first time around playing it.

I heard these amps are steady above 12v and 11v is the absolute lowest I want to hit
