Upgrade to smaller sub

I currently have a CDT CL-1215 in my Nissan 240sx. It is in a 1.1 ft^3 sealed box being pushed by a Directed 600d at 400 watts. Due to some space troubles ie. the box being only able to be put in the front right corner and my trunk lid resting on it and not closing properly, I need to get a 10"er. Now my choices are between the IDMAX for $225 shipped, an RE SE for retail, or an OZ Matrix Elite for $160-170. I could either sell my entire set up and get a new amp or I could keep the amp. However, will there be better quality in keeping my current amp and getting a better sub? Which is the best choice? I listen to mainly rock, some rap, if that matters. I'm more of an SQ guy, buy plan to port the box most likely to get the most bass for my wattage.

Well, if I got the IDMAX, I'd probably get a JBL 1200.1 or a Directed 1100d. Wouldn't the SE be a little underpowered with only 400 watts rms through it when it handles 600?

I love my IDMAX, tuned low gives it an awsome mix of sq and loudness. I've heard good things about the OZ subs too, though. Also, the max will do great with less than rms, so don't be too worried about that.
