Upgrade to an Optima yellow top battery

Should I upgrade my stock battery with an Optima yellow top battery me and my friends are always tailgating in my vue and since i'v put my sub in my car i have been worried about draining the battery and not having a car to jump it with would it be wise to put an Optima yellow top in my car to support our tailgating adventures

You could always add it as a second isolated battery such that you can completely drain yours, but when you put the key in the ignition you can take power from the second battery to start your car.

Yea because completely draining your battery is good for it's life span >.

Oh and to answer your post, optima is a good battery in any way you look at it, would definitely help with those tailgating experiences worry free.
