upgrade time....help

I am currently replacing two 13w1s in a ported box run by a kicker 400.1 amp. I have $450 to spend on two 12s or 1 15 and need some help with which one is best for me. I'd like to have one 2000-2500watt amp running and the box size would be around 5 cubes. I want loudness more then anything and still be able to take a few tophies home from a bass race. I was thinking 2 RE AUDIO SX-12 12s

cheap, 2 12s, but loud, off a relatively small budget... hmmm

type-r comes to mind, and around 2k watts would be perfect for 2 of them

if u had more power on tap I would suggest audioque HD3s.

how much room do u have to work with???

i doubt in a cavalier u could squeeze 2 15s ported but who knows... ive never owned one so i dont know

but if u could that would be great.

also check into l7s, cvx's, among a few others

yea man i know um i think i can get around 4.5-5 after sub and displacemnt for one 15 or two 12s i was gonna get the Fi BTL 15 but too much money involved and gas is way to high so ima go with something a lil cheaper prob 2 12 inch type r

2 Kicker S12L7's and a ZX1500.1

5 cubes sounds about PERFECT for 2 12" type-rs

if u want LOUDsq then tune mid 30s ie 33-36hz and if u want a LOUDD fartbox then tune high 30s and up, somewhere around about 37hz and up into the 40s.
