I just bought a 95 Buick Park Avenue. It has the factory AM/FM Cassette head unit with steering wheel controls. I want to upgrade so I have a CD player, do I have any aftermarket options that will work with the steering wheel controls?

Yes, lots of them. Search Crutchfield for models that are interesting to you, and then search for the specific models on google to find better prices...

there is a plug that connects behind the factory radio. Not the big single radio plug that does your power and speakers. A smaller one with about 7 or so wires. Next cut the end off and use a DMM to figure out which wire does what from your steering controls. Then take apart your radio remote and solder the wires that you found through the DMM to the appropriate spot on the remote circuit board to work the functions. After you have matched everything up take some 18g speaker wire and relocate the infrared eye in the console somewhere to point at the deck. This works everytime and is very easy to do .
