Upgrade/Is My Current Amp Enough

It's only been a week since I got my new system, & I already want to upgrade.

I currently have a JL A6450 running the system in my jeep (two 10w1's, my soundbar speakers, and the two in the dash).

I want to upgrade to one 8w7 in place of the two 10's, but the shop where I get this all done is saying that that amp might not be enough.

What do you guys think.

I want to DO THIS THE RIGHT WAY".

Just go for broke the first time an put in a 13W7. You will need at the very least 500 watts for it, more likely 750. This is just speaking from the 13W7's I've heard (I have 5 friends running them now...stupid kids). One of these was in a slot ported box with a 1000/1 JL amp, and it was stupid loud in his Ext. cab chevy. He then put in in an Audi with a 250watt Kenwood and it still thumped, but wasn't stupid loud anymore. And when I say stupid loud, I mean earplugs and can't hardly breathe when you're sitting in it.

If it were me, I'd go with a 10 or 13 W7 and a 500 watt amp. Just my opinions though.
