upgrade from hdc3 12?

so i currently have a soundqubed hdc312 on a Saz1500v3. gets very loud don't get me wrong, but just doesn't have that deep low bass i was looking for. seems a little hollow. wondering what single 12 would maybe suit me better? box is 2.5 cubes before displacement tuned at 35hz

What about tune lower, more port area, on same sub? it gets loud enough for me, just would like to get a bit lower

personally, I'd tune it around 30-31hz because I like my lows over all else, but I'd say 32-33ish is where you'd wanna be

It needs to be closer to 2.5 after disp. And around 16-18" port per cube

I would definitely try a new box first, tuned lower. That setup has a lot of potential. What impedance is your sub? That amp can be wired to .5 ohm if you have the electrical for it. I have the 1500dv2.

I know its an 18 but my hdc318 tuned to 33 easily plays well to 23 ish.

LPF good medium is 80hz

subsonic filter should be set around 27hz if you're tuning your box at 32hz

I had that same eq, keep that 50 hz and 125 hz knob at neutral at all times, messing with that seriously distorts your signal
