15" Orion H2, running off a XTR Pro 1000, 3.5 cubes tuned to 32 hz.

Yay.

Nice score!
What's with the power supplies?
This kids car has a computer in it. No TL stuff. He has GPS and all of his songs on it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Thanks for the kind remarks. I'm trying to see if this thing could pull a 145.

Oh, and the best part of testing was that there was a bunch of cars at the parking lot they were at. If they could beat my score they didn't have to pay $5.

The closest guy was 141 with 3 12" Kicker Comp Vr's in a Buick. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Eh, i talked to loyd about it. Said it worked on 10 other trucks. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

We'll have to do some more testing with it i think.

Did you make it out of like .25" plywood. Numerous people, including me and rangerman, found that .75" mdf actually lowered the score compared to when he used .25" plywood. Also, at what angle was it? Like...wht was the rear height and front height? j/w. peace

NG

BTW tommy, that is a SICK score. I think you've almost MASTERED your truck and subwoofer. peace

It was made out of 3/8" plywood, the thinnest stuff i had. I wasn't going to go out and buy a whole sheet of 1/4" stuff to make a little hood.

the rear height was 1 1/8" i believe, and the front is ~4 3/8". Those are the outer dimensions.

Well, i'd try it .25" if possible (see if someone or woodyard has scraps laying around.) Try varying the height (rear at first...still keeping it the same total increase as you had before) then try a more steep incline. Just some suggestions. peace

The hood i have now is the best its gonna get. I can't lower the back anymore because the sub almost hits it, and the front cant go any higher because it has to stay below the window seal. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I'll try some different things and see what happens. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

8/10th's is a huge loss though. I'm not sure changing the angles a bit is gonna make that much of a difference.
