Update on Skar Website Virus

There is no active threat against your computer by visiting the site - I am able to replicate this problem and can see what Whitedragon is talking about, but do not be concerned about anything on your computer be invaded or causing problems, I am on the phone with my web team as we speak to resolve this bug.

your so-called "web team" is, apparently, no more effective than a patrol of girl scouts armed with water pistols.

Also, this problem has existed for awhile - why are you only taking care of it now? We brought it to you attention quite some time ago.

And, there is CLEARLY a significant risk to your computer if this trojan gets installed.......just saying.

oh, and does FI have a website?¿

[quote name='whitedragon551']I know alot of people here encountered the virus on Skar's site. Skar denies it was there.

However, I have done some more investigation. It was a rootkit/trojan. It deleted components to windows services such as Windows Update, BITS (Background Intelligence Transfer Service), and Windows Firewall/Windows Defender services and .dll files requires to access those components of Windows OS.

The rootkit prevents you from updating windows, running Windows malicious software removal, and disables the firewall for unlimited data transfer without you knowing about it.

sounds like a significant risk to your computer, does it not? @SkarAudio

It sounds like more than a "bug" to me.

Now that you finally acknowledge the problem, do you care to explain why there is a trojan on your website?

NNone of you have even dealt with the guy. All going off heresay and things that happened in the past. That's like saying you wouldnt buy a Toyota because they're gas pedal stuck on a Prius 5 years ago and killed somebody.
