I dont think adding this to that thread is right. Like others said, any website can get hacked and even get viruses on them. Even this site has gotten viruses before. Im not in anyway backing up Kevin but adding this to the discrepancies thread is just going too far. He has no control over it. The only thing he can do is try to remove it.Adding this thread to the list of discrepancies...
Kevin said that he had his "IT" team check into the virus and they said they found nothing when many of us have seen and encountered the problem. If the site was hacked then his crack team of professionals should be able to see that there is infact a virus there and he should take down the page until he can isolate the problem... But that is what a responsible person would do...I dont think adding this to that thread is right. Like others said, any website can get hacked and even get viruses on them. Your ignorant if you think there arent viruses on MAC. Security through obscurity is not a smart plan.I have a MAC computer, so i've never had a problem going to SKAR Audio website. just saying..
Based on the logs from MalwareBytes Antimalware it very well may have been. If it was it masked itself as a Fake 2012 antivirus solution.hmm. Can I be the one person who is interested in the virus more than skar.
Based on your finding. Looks like zeroaccess. Most likely the Recyle.bin variant
