Unusual Ground Loop Issue

About 6yrs back I had an alpine HU and amp put in an '02 Mustang and I replaced the inner speakers myself...**** those mach 460 systems:laugh:.

Well since the new HU/amp everytime you turn on the radio or start car with it on you would get an annoying pop. Three years ago I got amp w/subs put in back of car...now I only got the popping sound through the same interior speakers, but the rear amp/subs never popped.

Last week I got a new amp put in back of the car for subs.

Now the popping sound sometimes never happens...only happens through interior speakers...or only happens through subs. Its strange how it alternates between the above 3 conditions...anyone have an idea on this problem? I dont have any engine whine noise at all through the system

I have read the above sticky and dont want a placebo/ground loop isolater since it doesnt fix, but only supresses the problem.

Is the headunit turn on wired to your ignition? Thats the case everytime somebody had that "pop"

I'm not entirely sure on that, but I know I cannot cut on the radio unless ignition is on so I assuming thats the case.

Are you still using your factory amplifier?

I removed all of them from the vehicle, all mach 460 ones. Its just Alpine amp for interior and Rockford T1500.1 for subs.
