Unsure about this wiring

I have wired my dual 2ohm voice coil sub to 1 ohm using parallel wiring. My question is that I could not fit bot 10ga wires in the terminals. So I ran the wires from the amp to one coil and then spliced a wire off each pos and neg and ran to the other side of the sub. I guess I was wanting to know if this would still work fine or not. I have included a drawing to help explain what im talking about. Any help or suggestions would be great. I already have the box in the car and the way it is would be a pain to change not because of space.

try using 12 g

Maybe use a smaller wire? But if you don't feel like it, it should be fine.

I guess what im getting at is, will this be ok or will it not be true parallel. Only reason I would like to stick with the way i have it, is because its a 3.7cf gross box jammed in an 04 mustang trunk. and the wire is siliconed through a hole on the bottom of box. But hell I can just battle a little and change it. Its a Mag 12 at 2.5cf at 32 pushed by a cadence a7hc incase anyone was wondering.
