Unsatisfying output from a 12" FI Q.

I didn't do the wiring of the sub. I had David [TeamPSI] do it, and he just left me with a single wire, so I'm sure he did it right.
What's the easiest way to check it to make sure? Or do I need to take the sub out?
check the ohm load with a dmm, qs should be able to get loud without a problem, have a feeling its at 4 ohms and not 1.

I'll go try that out. I have a fairly cheap DMM that I bought from Lowes. It does get the job done though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. Will report back in a few minutes.

thats a big *** box.
should get down.

where is the gain at?
The head unit I have doesn't have very good pre amp voltage, so the gain is probably pretty high. I'm not sure off the top of my head, I just set it off to wherever the amp would give about 1250-1300 watts.

The gain on my 4 channel amp was just about maxed for the fronts, and only gave me 70 RMS. [52/62 volume].
