Unreasonalble?

I finally got to see a 18" solo x today and the owner told me he was selling it, but would be interested in part trade for my 12" solo x. I offered him my solo x + A ps3 with 12 games. He said he would take all of that plus $250. Wtf?! Am I stupid for thinking that is unreasonable? How much is a used solo x 18 (old style SPAIR) really worth?

i could be wrong, but a ps3 is like 300, + 12 games at 50 a game, so thats like 900, plus a 12 solo x just to get a 18 solo x? is there that much of a cost difference for 6 inches for that particular sub?

Well, the 18 is a whole different animal compared to the 12, but your question is what I was asking in the first place, just getting different oppinions.

I hooked it up to my amp today and let it play free-air on the front seat. Sounded as good as you would expect it too.

no

but no thats not a good deal, you can get about 275-325 for that solo x possibly 400-450 for that ps3, hes still coming out in the end...If you really need to just sell all of it and buy one on here or gaybay

Well I'm definitely not in any position to spend another $250 on CA at the moment. Thats why its so nice dealing with people on here, a lot of people know what their equipments worth and are willing to trade and try new things. I'll tell the guy to look into his pricing and if he still wants to keep his price that high, then no deal.
