If you go to the unemployment office, say you have been out of work six weeks, they look up the local job postings, and give you the list, if there is any, in my case, there is none. I have been there already for job postings. That qualifies you for unemployment iam sure.

If it only worked like that...

Plenty of people out there that can't qualify for unemployment even if they didn't quit.

I was ready to receive a check this time last year, but then they found out I turned down a job, so they revoked it. I quit my job, 6 weeks later and applied, was accepted, but as I said they found out.

If it's like it is here you won't get it. It has to be a reason out of your control like boss or co-workers harassing you or you having a harder work load forced on you. If you willingly quit and the reason given was because you were moving so your g/f could go to school you're basically screwed. If you keep applying you might get it but I know my friend was fired for a performance related issue which in the paper's at my job clearly states you can't be fired for that. It still took him nearly 4 month's to get approved for it. Your best bet is ******* it up and going to a fast food place since they are always wanting help.

Technically I moved because I got married, my wife lived way over here, I pretty much had no home because I had to move back in with my father after a bunch of shit happened. It was either stay living in my fathers house, or move in with my wife.

I pretty much gave up on gettin the unemployment early or even at all. I am just going to continue my daily job hunt until Aug 10 (when I can apply for unemployment) and pray that I get it.
