Under Seats??

In one extreme case we mounted them under the front seats ... one under the driver and one under the passenger. I wouldn't do it again, pain in the *** in most vehicles without lifting the seat.

yeah i got 2 boston acoustics 10" pro series with a 4.75" mounting depth... a jbl 600.1 amp is on the way...and seperate p80.4 jbl amp is strictly for my components and 6x9's...

i'm not too worried about how difficult it will be to mount 'em... i love workin on that stuff... just worried on how it will sound and "feel"... =\
Maybe Blaupunkt's thin woofer would work ...

Good luck getting a wood or fiberglass box under there ... we used a very small mounting depth woofer and we still dug into the seat to have the woofer firing upwards ... downfiring wasn't an option since we couldn't get enough airspace because the woofer would simply hit the floor.

well it's recommended sealed is .5 cu ft... and the boston's dont have very much excursion... so i'm think of makin a box about 12*13*5.5 and mounting it to the floor and then cutting a few inches out of the bottom of the seat...
