Under-rated @ 600w...

Right, that makes sense. However, will it heat up too much to where I won't be able to run it daily?
At 800w it shouldn't. If it's heating up and getting hot you will smell it right away. Personally, I don't set my stuff with a DMM. Over the course of a week or so I slowly turn up the gain until the sub starts getting smelly when I play it hard for several minutes. At that point I slightly back down the gain until it's safe to play.

Well, my amplifier puts out 900w @ 2 ohms..but it'll be safe if I use the DMM on the gain, correct?

I think the BRZ is a great match for the Skar's, it doesn't push rated, but in this case that's a good thing.
hate to tell you, ALL the Brutus amps do rated or more depending on electrical.. just another hifonics hater? the only downfall to them is there longevity other then that i have disproved any rumors of them not doing rated, and i have a BXI1608D sitting here that clamps 1705 on 13ish volts...

Yeah you should be good. Though you might run into problems if you get heavy voltage drop
Hopefully my Big 3 will take care of that. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I was making a point that as long as you adjust the gains correctly that you won't have problems. I said after that I would give it 800 to 1000 watts RMS. My friend has a Rockford Fosgate T1D2 on a Hifonics Brutus BRZ2100.1D @ 1 ohm which is 2,100 watts RMS and the sub takes it but he doesn't play if on full blast for more than a minute and keeps the bass about half way on the HU. It can take that kind of power as long as it isn't on full blast like I said before.

And he says it sounds better with that much power going to it, but he doesn't turn the bass all the way up unless he is showing off for a minute.

I had a BXI 1210 D, Earlier model of your amp Cinder. And it did fine on Yaris Electrical. I have my Big 3 upgraded, just don't run around all day playing test tones and you'll be fine. I had mine at both 1 ohm and 2 ohm at diff times.

What type of wiring are you using btw ?

My Skar 12 was firing up and was just fine... As long as there is enough room between the sub and rear deck itll be fine...
What if theres maybe 5" or so between the deck (maybe a little less I'm not near my car right now) I plan on putting a 15 and it'll be upfiring.

Make sure that box is built well. If the sub is facing up in that trunk you will not be too happy.

???? My subs are up port back and its beyond brutal gives my rear window hell.... Next step in build is to find a second A7 and strap them and see what they can do... Based on my exp with the vvx they can take 1k daily without issue..

ur an idiot. stop attempting to give advice to others when it is clear u don't know wtf ur talking about...and stop trying to cover up said pathetic advice with even more pathetic remarks about "I was making a point" .... and then go on to talk about what ur friend is running.... lmao

Your friend's setup has nothing whatsoever to do with the OP's question about how much she could feed her Skar VVXs.
