under powering subs

As i said, it was 9th grade physical science. not exactly something that merits a search. Science and math where the only subjects i payed attention to in highschool.
To be honest there is much more to it than that, as you heat something it increases the amount of scattering centers in a material in many ways including what you listed, but what you gave was a sufficient answer for this.

oh ok yeah, but in fairness i was right, just not specific enough.

Phonons are just the way the vibrations are described from a quantum mechanics perspective, Phonons are just a specific type of atomic thermal vibration
Yea, but even then they are only one of a multitude of things that affect resistivity. There are actually other things that affect it more than lattice vibrations but this isn't a lecture on electronic materials so I digress.

well there is always more to everything...

in this world everything we know of can be complicated to a level beyond our understanding.

I would define wisdom as knowing when you have complicated something enough to accomplish a certain goal.

Wow, he was actually correct, I am impressed.
Now tell me what those lattice vibrations are called for extra credit.
I'm evidentally stupid and I'm deleting this until I learn what the hell I'm talking about. Thank you come again.

I shall now go read online to find more info //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Or to understand that the result of your research will not be worth the time spent defining your results.

... wow that is incredibly wrong. i know enough to tell you that.
Then I'm confused about something. Someone correct me. Let me look up wikipedia...*sigh*

Science never was my strong point... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

questionable reasoning. the ability to define your research makes the worth of said research subjective and thus not a product of wisdom but priority, unless you would argue that priority requires wisdom, which i would not. If my dog has to shit more than she is hungry, she will shit before she eats. she is not as wise as I, yet has a greater sense of priority.

a polar vector is just a vector that reverses sign when the coordinate axes are reversed.

It has literally by definition nothing specific to do with the motion of sub-atomic particles. If you can prove otherwise, you've won a Nobel prize.

Jesus cotjones, shut the fuck up already, will ya? Go try and impress some other forum with your drawn out posts containing vocabulary and sentence structure that makes you look like a pathetic loser trying to turn his e-rep around and attempt to sound intelligent.

Understandable - yet here's my thing, once again.

I say that priority requires wisdom in order to be diligent. Sure, your dog will shit before she eats, because she has to shit. That's how it goes.

It could go either way, it depends on how you look at it - and that I can definitely understand. You can either look at it as it's what you want/need to do, or you can look at it from a viewpoint of results vs effort. 10 years to solve an insigificant issue vs 20 years to solve one that may change things as we know it(or at least push it to the right direction).

Then again, the insignificant find could have the same great impact in the future, you just never know.

Arguing with myself, sorry. Time for bed. Adieu

you could use one of these...

I'm not arguing with you - you know more about the subject than me.

And I was wrong.

I thought that the polar vectors were used in determining force? I need to go to bed and reason with myself tomorrow. Goodnight.
