Don't know if this should go into the amp or sub category so Ill go with general.

I have 2 subs with 900 rms each

https://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_81780_Audiopipe-TXX-BD2-15.html

along with 1 900 watt amp (bridged)

https://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_9170_SPL-FX2-2200.html

I was just wondering if I was under powering them and if I should buy another 900 watt amp and just run 1 sub per amp. I was thinking that getting a second amp would increase the power so they would be louder and also splitting 900 watts from the amp into 1800 combined watts isn't good for the subs.

well they ain't the best subs in the world but 3" coil could probably take more power than that amp yeah..
Any recomended amps for low price? Whenever I look for an amp it never has close to enough wattage and also being broke doesnt help.

that amp is more like 300 actual watts bridged at 1 ohm bro. Get something that actually puts out real rms power. My advice, save up till you have a budget of 250 dollars because the amp will be 200+ tax, 0 gauge wiring will be the rest.

Stay away from garbage brands.

I'd go with an audiopipe apcl 1500.1 or 1800.1 or a cab 1600.1. These are miles better than spl, boss, ssl, planet audio, power acoustik, hifonics junk.

the CAB is still the darling of the forums, unless i messed something that came out recently. A true 1600 watts (actually pretty well beyond that with Big D Wiz's dyno tests to back that claim) for 200 bones

1500 watts for the apcl 1800.1 and cab 1600.1 both costs similar.

1300 watts for the apcl 1500.1 for 150 bones

buddy that had both the CAB and apcl 1500.1 didnt notice any loudness difference in a direct swap at all. He was using 1/0 to 4 gauge reducers for the audiopoop.

right on. Good to know. Any qualitative differences to speak of?

good deals on some of these amps on ebay and amazon just be sure u buy from amazon or a stereo website so it has warranty., guy here bought amp from seller on amazon didn't work and they wouldn't even trade it or anything..

thats why you dont buy from 3rd party sellers, buy from amazon directly. Just dont be a fking idiot online and you are good. Amazon takes care of everything if the item is amazon fullfilled or sold by amazon. Guy most likely saw a cheaper price and didnt buy the legit fullfilled item and get fked with the 3rd party seller. However he can still report a claim to amazon which he didn't.
