under powered or just right????

hi i have a dual best buy special 2 channel 580 watt 2ohm stable amp. im looking to get a new amp but first i want to know if this amp is right for my subs. my 2 subs are pioneer 800 watt 4ohm 150 rms and there bridged, i have them wired in a series . the amp specs are 145 watts rms x 2 channel @ 2 ohms, 290 watts rms x 1 channel @ 4 ohms bridged . dynamic power 580 at 4 ohms. are they powered right?

i do its on my highs for now.this is my other amp. so its to much. i didint get what u said sorry i allso have a old school hifions oden i think thats right 150 watts. i dont have it in my car

is this the xia3145?

Assuming the subs are svc 4's it sounds like the amp is bridged at 8 ohms. That means 200w to the subs (100w each) instead of 290/145.

The odin would probably produce about the same power as the Dual.

Seems to me you need a mono amp that will do 300-400w at 2 ohms. however, it probably wouldn't amount to a significant improvement in audible output.
