Audiobahn A16000V any good???

Give us a price range and what your looking for, im sure we could find something for you
didnt want to ask typical question u know so ill be more specific.

Im powering my SW9122 with my ZX750.1 (900@2).

I want to give my Eclipse ti (4ohm DVC) more power coz its barely breathing with 900.

I was looking for 1000-1500 RMS @ 2ohm amp. And it doesn have to be 1 ohm stable.

I was thinking of ZX1000 coz usually they are 1200RMS but first i wanted to see if i cud find smthing lil cheaper.

Pa ov1-4000(same board as SS pca-1500) is a great budget amp..i have one and i have never had a problem with it and it runs cooler than any amp i have ever owned..of course its overated but it will put out 1200-1300 @ 2 ohms and 1700-1800 @ 1 ohm rms

im guessing its around 300-350?

maybe not even that coz my kicker has 2 40's and its 900
I don't think you're getting anywhere by comparing fuse size like that - at least not far.

It's known that it takes significantly more than rated current to open a fuse quickly.

And I'm sure the application of fuses varies from amp to amp. For some amps fuse size may be a form of protection - in that they're intended to blow when the amp reaches a certain level of stress. I would expect other amps use fuses only to blow in the case of catastrophic failure. Then you'd have other amps at all points in between.

I have personally only blown fuses on one amp - and the amp was already toast.

I know of a class a/b amp with 2x30's that was indepently bench tested for 900w+ at 1% thd.

I would definitely agree that the A'bahn is badly over-rated, but I don't think you can nail down real world power capability to any reasonable degree of accuracy based just on fuse size.

no i believe i got mine for 250-275 shipped on ebay..worth every penny..you can lok on the classifieds here and im sure you can find something even better for that $
thx ill def look that one up.

did you test yours? or 1200-1300 @ 2 ohms was just an estimate?
